FIFA 09 is the latest installment of Electronic Arts' FIFA Series of football video games. Developed by EA Canada, it is published by Electronic Arts worldwide under the EA Sports label.
It was released on 2 October 2008 in Australia, 3 October 2008 in Europe and 14 October in North America. The N-Gage version was released on 18 November 2008. The demo was released on 10 September for PC and on 11 September for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PS3 and Xbox 360 demos were identical with the exception of the stadium used with the PS3 featuring the FIWC Stadium and the Xbox 360 version using the new Wembley Stadium. There are different covers for the regional versions of FIFA 09. All covers feature Ronaldinho with different players for each region: North America version features Guillermo Ochoa and Maurice Edu, German cover features Kevin Kurányi, Italian cover features Daniele De Rossi, Irish cover features Richard Dunne, French cover features Franck Ribéry, and Karim Benzema, Hungarian cover features Balázs Dzsudzsák, Portuguese cover features Ricardo Quaresma, Spanish cover features Gonzalo Higuaín, Swiss cover features Tranquillo Barnetta and UK and Australian covers feature Wayne Rooney. After the North America cover had already been revealed, Maurice Edu signed for Scottish team Rangers F.C. and this caused the cover to be altered to feature Edu in a US National Team shirt and Ronaldinho is changed to wearing his Milan shirt, so that a club shirt was featured.

Assassin's Creed is a third-person stealth game in which the player primarily assumes the role of Altaïr as experienced by Desmond. To achieve this goal, the player must travel from the Brotherhood's headquarters in Masyaf, across the terrain of the Holy Land known as the Kingdom to one of three cities, Jerusalem, Acre, or Damascus, to find the Brotherhood agent in that city. There, the agent, in addition to providing a safe house, gives the player minimal knowledge about the target, and requires them to perform additional intelligence gathering missions prior to attempting the assassination. These missions include eavesdropping, interrogation, pickpocketing, and completing tasks for informers and fellow assassins. Additionally, the player may take part in any number of side objectives, including climbing tall towers to map out the city, and saving citizens who are being threatened or harassed by the city guards. There are also various side quests that do not advance the plot such as hunting down and killing Templars and flag collecting. After completing each set of assassinations, the player is returned back to the Brotherhood and rewarded with a better weapon and then given another set of targets, with the player free to select the order of their targets.

Left 4 Dead was well received with an aggregate score of 88% on Game Rankings and 89% on Metacritic upon its release, with praise given for its replay value, focus on cooperative play, and movie-like experience. The only menu in which the game is not still in progress is the pause menu and the save console menu (though the save console is only accessible in areas where there are no enemies and becomes inactive during cutscenes.)

It was a nominee for several Wii-specific awards from IGN in its 2008 video game awards, including Best New IP, Best Sports Game, Best Graphics Technology, Best Use of the Balance Board, and Game of the Year. Motocross Madness 2 is a motocross racing computer game that was developed by Rainbow Studios and published by Microsoft Games. It is one of Microsoft's most popular games. I experienced no graphic glitches at all when playing with either a TNT2 or Voodoo2, but I did encounter one or two desktop crashes after particularly long sessions in the Stunt Quarry. But on the whole, the game seems relatively bug-free and stable. Motocross Madness 2 isn't the most realistic motorcycle simulation you can buy, but it's definitely one of the most enjoyable. The game's got a little something for everyone - and with a modest sticker price of around $35, it's also one that just about anyone can afford. If your system can run it, you'd do well to head out to grab a copy. You won't be sorry you did.

The road system includes four water crossings, going clockwise: the Mainguy Causeway (Ocean Expressway connecting Sunset Hills to Port Crescent via manmade island), the Vale Causeway (Sunset Hills to Palm Harbor), the North T causeway (Manmade island to Palm Harbor), and the Memorial Tunnel (Port Crescent to Palm Harbor). Undercover also features a new contiguous highway system. In previous installments, highways were relatively small circuits concentrated within single boroughs. In Undercover the main highway is one large circuit circling the entire city, with each borough having a small piece of it. The longer length allows the highway to take on a more realistic shape, with long straight areas, gentle curves, rest areas and large interchanges. Also, the entire map is open from the start of the game, unlike previous installments where boroughs had to be unlocked.

The game's story mode sets the player in the story as a police officer going undercover into the criminal underground of Tri-City, a fictional city where the game is set. Players take on dangerous 'jobs' and compete in races in order to infiltrate and take down a ruthless international crime smuggling syndicate of street racers and car thieves. The player's only contacts to the police are federal handler Chase Linh, played by Maggie Q, and later Lt. Jack M. Keller played by Paul Pape. As the player wins races and blends in with the gangs by doing different jobs like stealing cars, he later ends up taking out the bosses and their thugs. As the end draws near Chau Wu calls the hero telling to return one of his cars that he claims that G-Mac had him steal when it was Hector and Zach that stole the car to begin with. The player gets the car from Carmen and then takes the car to the Warehouse district in Sunset Hills to save Chase. When he gets there he finds out that he has been tricked by Chase Lihn the whole time and then kills Chau Wu for his cell phone which has important data in regards to stolen cars from the docks. The player evades the police since they are after him as he tries to escape and go after Chase. Then the player goes after and takes out Chase and she is arrested for framing him and being involved with Chau Wu. Then later Carmen is seen talking to the player and she asks him to take her back to the University and mentions that she is a med student.

Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East is the second expansion pack to the turn-based strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic V and the first stand-alone expansion pack released for the fifth series. With Ornella, now turned into a Necromancer, at his side, Arantir sets out towards the city of Flammschrein, the holy city which has been desecrated by the demon Orlando. After killing Orlando, Arantir visits the graves of Flammshrein where he frees a fragment of the true Queen Isabel's soul. Upon doing so, the succubus impostor who had been taking the place of the queen is revealed and she is forced to take over the city. Biara (the Succubus) uses the Heart of the Griffin, an artifact that sends demons to their hell, as a portal to the Haven city after having corrupted the Heart of the Griffin by means of a dark ritual. Arantir also meets with the Orcs and arranges an alliance via the Orc shaman Kujin after learning that Biara killed the heir to the Griffin Empire, Alexei.

It was first released for the PSP in North America on November 6, 2007, and was later ported to the PlayStation 2, where it was first released on March 4, 2008 in North America. The initial PSP release garnered a mixed reception but was generally received well, with reviewers complementing gameplay mechanics and good graphics for the hand-held console, whilst mostcomplaints concerned the brief length of the game and overly-strict adherence to the series' past formula by the new developer. It is later revealed that Niko came to Liberty City primarily to search for the person he blames for the betrayal of his old army unit: Florian Cravic. FIFA 08 is the latest installment of Electronic Arts' series of football video games. Developed by EA Canada, it is published by Electronic Arts worldwide under the EA Sports label. The game was well-received garnering an average of 81.5 on both next-generation consoles (Xbox 360 and PS3) because of its refreshing new game mechanics which broke out from the series' criticised past record of not making much of an effort to innovate.

It also looks better, with clear attention given to the game’s artistic sensibilities and the lusher, denser environments. But rest assured, developer Crytek has enhanced more than just the graphics engine. Vehicles are more fun to drive, firefights are more intense and focused, and aliens do more than just float around you. More emphasis on the open-ended environments would have been welcome, but a more exciting (though shorter) campaign, a new multiplayer mode, and a whole bunch of new maps make Crysis Warhead an excellent expansion to one of last year’s best shooters.These big boys are back, and will still give you a chill. If you didn’t play Crysis, Warhead’s story may be initially confusing, given that you hit the ground running with little exposition. You play as Sergeant “Psycho” Sykes, the brash Brit who was a bit player in the original game. Psycho tends to play by his own rules, always willing to ignore orders and jump into the fray if that’s what the situation requires. The story runs parallel to the events of Crysis, though his strident attitude–and a dramatic cutscene near the end of the game–definitely make this Psycho’s tale, even if the actual plot remains the same. However, your greatest menace comes in the form of aggressive aliens that turn the luxuriant jungles and glowing beaches into a frozen wasteland. Psycho’s brazen confidence does more than just establish a gutsy protagonist: It sets the stage for a more focused and intense series of battles that keep the pace moving more smoothly than before. Warhead still offers some of the same kind of sandbox levels, but thoughtful enemy placement and map bottlenecks keep downtime to a minimum. You can approach assaults on beachfronts and Korean encampments in a number of ways, so if you’re a stealth enthusiast, you can employ your suit’s cloak setting and sneak in, or attach a silencer to your sniper rifle and take out your human foes from a distance. If you would rather employ hit-and-run tactics, you can jump into the heat of battle, cause a ruckus, and use your suit’s speed function to zoom away. However, Warhead is clearly focused on the guns-blazing approach, gently nudging you into full-on encounters with its mission objectives, character dialogue, and level design. When you reach primary and secondary destinations, you’ll get besieged by large numbers of enemies, both human and (later on) alien. Given that human foes also don nanosuits, they’re not necessarily quick to fall; as a result, these sequences are exciting and challenging, and you’ll need to use your suit abilities and cover opportunities to your advantage. The easily triggered explosions of enemy vehicles and hazardous barrels further intensify these pockets of activity.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary, is the eighth release of the Tomb Raider series. It is a remake of the original Tomb Raider game from 1996, using an improved version of the Legend game engine, and it includes all of the original 'worlds' from Tomb Raider.
In 1945 New Mexico, a bomb explodes, engulfing a town and revealing a strange structure, from which a winged creature flies out. In 1996, Lara Croft is approached by Larson, who introduces her to Jacqueline Natla, who wishes for Lara to find a piece of an artefact called the Scion, located in Peru. Lara agrees to go. In the Lost Valley, Lara finds a tomb belonging to a god king Qualopec. She discovers that he was one of three God Kings (the Triumvirate) who ruled Atlantis before it fell beneath the waves. As Lara reaches towards Qualopec's corpse, a Mummy like creature attempts to attack her, but falls dead at her feet. Lara quickly exits with the Scion, but finds Larson ready to take it from her. After fighting him, Lara discovers that Natla has sent another archaeologist to find the next piece, in Greece. She also travels there to get it before he does.After a brief encounter with Pierre Dupont, the other archaeologist, Lara races against him to find the next piece. On finding the tomb of Tihocan (the second Triumvirate), Pierre catches up with her and attempts to get Qualopec's piece of the Scion off her - he already has Tihocan's. But he is attacked by two centaurs who then turn on Lara. After defeating them, Lara puts the pieces together and has a vision about the final piece being in Egypt. After getting the final Scion piece and adding it to the other two, Lara has a much clearer vision about the three Triumvirates, one of whom is Natla herself. Natla tried to rush the Seventh Age by turning Atlantis' own armies against it, and was expelled from the order, then trapped in the crystalline structure seen at the beginning.
Natla takes the Scion away from Lara, who has had her guns taken away from her and is being held by 'Kold.' Natla orders the henchman to kill Lara but she escapes and follows them on a motorbike, managing to get onto Natla's boat and sailing away with them. Lara follows Natla into a desolate island, and kills Larson when he tries to stop her getting any further, which makes her feel guilty. Lara then confronts Kold and Kid, who argue over who gets to kill her, resulting in Kold stabbing Kid, but Kid shooting Kold dead before dying from his injuries, before reaching the top of the Atlantean pyramid and meeting Natla, who wants Lara to join her. Lara shoots the Scion and is attacked by Natla, but she saves herself by grappling onto the edge of another ledge. She soon meets up again with a burnt Natla who attempts to twist Lara's mind, but Lara manages to defeat her. She then escapes the exploding pyramid and sails away in Natla's boat.

Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties is a real-time strategy (RTS) video game developed through a collaboration between Ensemble Studios and Big Huge Games, and published by Microsoft Game Studios. The game is the second expansion pack for Age of Empires III, following The WarChiefs. The game introduces three new civilizations; the Indians, Chinese, and Japanese, as well as several minor peoples, campaigns, maps, and game modes.

There are three new campaigns, one for each new civilization. Furthermore, these campaigns return to the historical, civilization-based single-player campaigns, which are different from thepast campaigns in the Age of Empires III series. Each campaign consists of five new scenarios.
Japanese campaign — The Japanese campaign focuses on the unification of Japan, which was also a scenario in Age of Empires II: The Conquerors. It mainly concentrates on the establishment of the Tokugawa Shogunate, which players will control, and a young general, named Sakuma Kichiro, the "adopted son" of Tokugawa Ieyasu, who leads numerous scenarios before the Battle of Sekigahara. First, Kichiro meets up with Daimyo Torii Mototada. Then they help the villagers outside Osaka castle, who ally with them to attack the castle. After that they have to move east to destroy villages before the villagers ally with the enemy. After the victory, in which they suffer heavy losses, Mototada has to return to his castle. Kichiro goes on to take control of the Tokaido Road (a trade route), then joins Mototada at his estate.
Chinese campaign — The Chinese campaign focuses loosely on the 1421 hypothesis and is about a Chinese treasure ship discovering the New World before Christopher Columbus. The story mainly focuses on Jian Huang, a Ming captain who dreamed of seeing the outside world, and his partner, Lao Chen, a large and powerful sailor and friend of Jian Huang, who are given orders to help expand the Ming Empire. But before exploring the New World, Admiral Jinhai, a cold and power hungry admiral, hopes to become emperor of the new lands. In the beginning, the fleet is under attack from Wokou pirates. Huang and Chen save the fleet and they land in a port on the coast of India. Suddenly, they are attacked by Indian soldiers of the Zamorin. They set up a new base and build ships to mount a rescue mission and save Jinhai, who has been captured by the Zamorin's troops. Then, they head west, and land in Yucatan. Chen and Huang go to rescue the rest of the crew and fleet. Jinhai mysteriously disappears, and Jian suspects he was captured, along with much of the crew and they mount a rescue mission.
Indian campaign — The Indian campaign is about the Sepoy Rebellion of the 19th Century. The protagonist of the Indian campaign is Lieutenant Nanib Sahir (a portmanteau name of Nana Sahib), a member of the Sepoy regiments, who first allied with the British East India Company, but slowly becomes disillusioned from its cruel ways and abuse of the Indian citizens. He helps the British regain control of the saltpetre trade. Nanib and his superior, Colonel Edwardson, then defeat arsonists in Calcutta. However, Nanib eventually joins the rebels in the Sepoy rebellion after he and his men are forced by the company to use new Enfield Rifles, despite the cartridges' coverings of beef and pork fat, which was a taboo to Nanib's and the sepoys' Hindu and Muslim beliefs. Nanib then fights and destroys a company fort by assaulting weapon caches to cause fires and explosions. Nanib and another sepoy hero, Pravar Patel, rally enormous forces and decide to rescue Bahadur Shah II. They sneak into Delhi in the dead of night and destroy weapon caches to cause elephant stampedes which destroy gates. After rescuing sepoys, they free the Shah from the Agra Fort wonder. Then they rally soldiers and battle through the Delhi, freeing the Shah. Nanib then leads his forces in an assault on Colonel Edwardson's stronghold. Nanib destroys Edwardson's saltpeter sites and defeats three waves of attackers.

Airborne also features a multiplayer mode available for online play, where users have the choice of fighting for the Allies and parachuting down to the battlefield, or fighting for the Axis and starting on the ground,

defending the position from enemy paratroopers. The game uses a heavily-modified Unreal Engine 3. Airborne employs a nonlinear gameplay style whereby the player can start the game anywhere in the map by directing where they land, as opposed to previous linear FPS games where the start point and direction is already laid out, such as Allied Assault. Airborne uses a heavily modified Unreal 3 engine. The game's core development was started with EA's acquired Renderware engine, but it made the switch to the Unreal 3 engine in early 2006 which delayed the game by over a year. The engine was specifically designed for DirectX 9 and 10 PCs, PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, and supports many rendering techniques utilized within the graphics capabilities of Airborne, including HDRR, per-pixel lighting and dynamic shadows.

It is the second multiplayer-focused game in the Quake series (after Quake III Arena). Unlike the previous Enemy Territory game, Quake Wars is a commercial release rather than a free download. Quake Wars is a class-based, objective focused, team-oriented game. Teams are based on Human (GDF) and alien (Strogg) technology. While the teams are asymmetrical both sides have the same basic weapons and tools to complete objectives. Unlike other team-based online games (such as the Battlefield series) the game play is much more focused on one or two main objectives at once vs spread all over the combat area. This allows for much more focused and intense combat situations, similar to the original Unreal Tournament assault mode. Each player class from each side normally has new objectives show up during game play, many times based around the specific capabilities of your class. The game also has the capability to group players into fireteams for greater coordinated strategy. These fireteams can be user created or game generated depending on the mission selected by the player. The game has an experience points (XP) rewards system in place. It rewards every player some points depending on the mission completed. This accumulated XP later leads to unlocks which may vary from availability of new equipment/weapons to abilities like faster movement or more accurate weapons. These rewards are reset to zero after the completion of every campaign, which consists of three unique maps, all with a common locale/region.

It was released on January 17, 2007 in Australia and New Zealand; in total, approximately 3.53 million copies were sold across these territories in the first month of release, including 1.9 million in North America over 100,000 copies in Australasia, and nearly 1.6 million in Europe. It was also released in Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia on January 16, 2007. It was later released in South Korea on February 1, 2007; in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on April 30, 2007. The game was released in China on September 6, 2007. Two new races are now a part of World of Warcraft. There are the Draenei, opting for the Alliance faction, and the Blood Elves opting for the Horde. The Draenei have been granted the ability to become shaman, a previously Horde-only class, whilst Blood Elves have been given the ability to become paladins, formerly an Alliance-only class.
A new battleground, Eye of the Storm, is included with two brackets: levels 61-69, and level 70. Even though this battleground is made for level 70s, the use of flying mounts in the battleground is not possible. The Eye of the Storm battleground is only available to those with the expansion. In addition a new PvP Arena System was introduced, a way for players to fight in 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, or 5 vs 5 battles. While the arena system allows people without The Burning Crusade to partake in skirmish matches, people without the expansion are not able to participate in rated matches which yield rewards, as ladder matches are only accessible by players who have reached level 70. There are three arenas available, the original two being Blades Edge Arena, and Nagrand Arena, the newest, Ruins of Lordaeron. Arena matches have taken a more prominent role in the game’s PvP scene as it grows into an electronic sport. One example is its appearance in the World Series of Video Games ’07, where 3v3 teams can earn cash prizes. Blizzard also holds its own seasonal tournament, the World of Warcraft Arena Tournament, which pitches teams from servers all around the world against each other. This tournament concludes with a 5v5 world final event, the first of which took place at Blizzcon ’07 and so ended season 1.

He beats them and earns their crowns and dominates enough organizations and showdowns to face Ryo who drives a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. Ryan beats him and the APEX GLIDE team leaves Ryo. Transformers: The Game is the name of multiple versions of a video game based on the 2007 live action film Transformers, all of which were released in North America in June 2007. Formula 1 2008: When EA Sports' F1 series first bounded into our consciousness in 2000, it appeared as a thrilling and exacting, but somewhat flawed, strike at the reigning Formula 1 champs in Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix and Ubisoft's superb Monaco Grand Prix II. In the three short years since, developer Image Space Incorporated has tweaked the game through three revisions, the most recent of which drove this series to the top of the open-wheeled racing genre. Surely something even more exciting would arrive in the next edition. And it has, in the form of F1 Challenge '99-'02. Sadly, this excitement is somewhat tainted. Firstly, though the game is a grandiose and stunningly gorgeous affair that builds upon its already strong base by combining all four seasons from 1999 to 2002 into one neat package, it is not the huge face-lift some were expecting. Nor does it even brush upon the most recent season, 2003. Furthermore, there's little doubt that it feels like a backward-looking wrap-up--a parting shot--to a series that has unfortunately come to its fruition. And that's because it has. Indeed, F1 Challenge is to be the final installment of this superb franchise. Whether it is resurrected in the distant future is anyone's guess, but it is most assuredly gone for some time to come. According to EA, "The license was up, and we chose not to renew." According to its growing fan base, which has come to view F1 as the most authentic depiction of open-wheeled racing on any gaming platform--and leagues ahead of anything played on a console system--the end came far too soon. The good news is that EA and Image Space have given us a really big finale that is already the subject of numerous third-party modifications. F1 Challenge begins humbly, with a simple interface sporting a simple request to login with your chosen player ID. It then expands exponentially from there. Once you've entered your ID, which, thankfully, allows you to race as yourself rather than one of the game's 34 real-life F1 pilots, you have a big decision to make. Namely, you have to decide which of the last four seasons, excluding 2003, you wish to enter. To the uneducated driver, four separate seasons--each with many of the same venues and many of the same drivers, teams and cars--would mean very little. But the seasoned pro knows differently. Image Space has done a nice job in this respect, developing a unique set of parameters for each year. If a circuit has been altered, dropped, or added in the real world during those years (Hello, Indianapolis!), such changes are reflected in the game. If a driver has changed teams or a team changed sponsors or colors, you'll see it. When you create your ID, you'll also be asked to choose a nationality, a team, and a car in which to drive. The latter is quite important, as a fast, capable machine in the real world is also just that within the game. This means by selecting something like an also-ran British American Racing entry, you'll have to perform at an even higher level if you hope to dislodge the Ferraris and McLarens from their typical podium positions.

Vice City Stories is structured similarly to other releases from the Grand Theft Auto series. The core gameplay consists of elements of a third-person shooter and a driving game, affording the player a large, open environment in which to move around. If the player was to move the gun off target whilst still charging up or fully charged up the gun, the charger will begin to move down again. Once the aim is re-established, the player can fire.

Formula 1 2007: For sure this game has much to offer to counterbalance these shortcomings.....and then again that no support for force feedback comes into my mind. I know that the asphalt has no bumps and the ideal lines are perfect defined, but i also know that F1 pound the drivers with the greatest G-forces encountered in any sport and that the F1 cars do not have servo-steering. So this definitely has to be sensed in the manipulation of steering wheel. See here the walk to podium of exhausted Nigel Mansell after battling with Senna in the Monaco Grand Prix some 15 years ago. So if this wants to be professional, the must-features shall be present. On top of that put the only three supported racing wheels ( Logitech Driving Force Pro, Logitech Driving Force Rx, Logitech G25 Racing Wheel) and you will feel all of a sudden so limited. Anyway, maybe this will be solved with an update like it happened with Gran Turismo Hd. To continue with control interfaces issues; it was pretty weird when noticed that digital "X" and "square" buttons work at about 80% of analog sticks maximum acceleration/brake signal. That translates into 40 mph difference at the finish of a straight line. 200 mph terminal speed with the analog stick versus 160 with the digital buttons is a heck of difference. So if you wanna win races and beat lap times, analog sticks shall be used. The Sixaxis gyroscopic feature which allows players to control the steering by leaning the gamepad is not as accurate as you would like to. It's surely not good for beating lap times or winning races. F1 is boring stuff on Tv, so the virtual corespondent won't solve this issue if it happens for you to be one of that bored persons. But if you are a car setup lover and a perfectionist that does somewhere around 20 laps just to get a decent setup, this could be the game for you.

Heroes of Might and Magic V is the fifth installment of the Heroes of Might and Magic turn-based strategy video game series. It was developed by Nival Interactive, under the guidance of franchise-owner Ubisoft. It was released in Europe on May 16 and the United States and Canada on May 24, 2006.

The game is rendered fully in 3D, unlike previous installments.
A new skill/spell system is used.

A hero can learn a new skill, upgrade an existing one, gain a new ability or create combos of multiple abilities upon gaining a new level or visiting special buildings on the adventure map. There are two sets of skills available to heroes: racial skills and regular skills. A hero can have up to five regular skills and always has the proper racial skill. Skills are divided into three levels: Basic, Advanced and Expert. Each skill is associated with three to five abilities, depending on the race of the hero. Each level of skill gives the hero a chance to learn one ability under the skill. That is, a hero with Basic level of a skill can learn one ability, Advanced level two, and Expert level three. An ability is not immediately learned when the hero increases the corresponding skill level. The racial skill that a hero learns is dependent on their native faction. As a result, Wulfstan's influence amongst the Dwarves grows. Eventually Wulfstan teams up with his friend Duncan and together they set a distraction to ensure the safety of Freyda's voyage. Hitman: Blood Money before on the PC and Xbox 360. And I'm sure everyone else has played it already, so there's no need to get into the meat and potatoes of the game. There were four dinosaurs in the pack, all from the Cretaceous period. The carnivores do eat guests, but only adult men and not women or children, most likely for user-friendly issues. Eating guests does not help satisfy hunger levels. Since the release of Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals, which includes more updated versions of all of the animals and items included in the pack, Dino Danger was taken offline from the Zoo Tycoon website and can no longer be downloaded. However, it can still be purchased via URL on the Oberon Media website, even though it is not linked. The pack does conflict with the Extinct Animals versions, but have their models included in addition to the new ones. The Extinct Animals models are the ones used in the game.

Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania is the third expansion pack for the video game Zoo Tycoon 2. The expansion focuses around marine animals, as did the Marine Mania expansion for the first Zoo Tycoon game. Marine Mania introduces shows and an animal training minigame (more minigames were later introduced in Extinct Animals) which were previously not in the other expansions of the game. The player can train individual animals in the first-person, guest mode themselves or hire a trainer to train the animals. The training minigame takes place in a training area, inside the animal's tank. The player uses a "training wand" to follow a tracer along a form which differs with the trick that is being taught. The training increases the animal's skill in that particular trick, as the animal becomes more skilled the training becomes more difficult. The difficulty of the training is increased by the form becoming narrower, the tracer moving more quickly and the addition of such obstacles as the player needing to press an arrow key or click the mouse at a certain point.

The gameplay focuses on fast-paced gunplay, quick controls, and shootouts involving massive crowds of enemies in large open areas.The camera is focused behind Leon, and it zooms in for an over-the-shoulder view when aiming a weapon. The addition of a laser sight adds a new depth to the aiming not present in the other games of the series. Bullets now affect the enemies specifically where they are shot. Shots to the feet can cause enemies to stumble, while shots to the arms can cause them to drop their weapons.

Another new aspect of Resident Evil 4 is the inclusion of context-sensitive controls. Based on the situation, the player can interact with aspects of their environment: kicking down a ladder, jumping out of a window, or dodging an enemy attack. Plot:

He also meets Luis Sera, a former Los Illuminados researcher, who aids Leon on his mission, before he is murdered by Osmund Saddler, the leader of the Los Illuminados cult.After Saddler discovers that Leon has rescued Ashley, he commands his subjects to use any means to recover her. Meanwhile, after defeating the village chief, Bitores Mendez, Leon, and Ashley take refuge inside the castle of the local castellan, Ramon Salazar. Ashley begins to cough blood, realizing that she is probably infected and runs into one of the castles many traps. Leon then battles his way through mazes and minions to find Salazar only to learn that Ashley has been taken to a nearby island research facility. After numerous altercations with Saddler's forces, including a freakishly empowered Krauser, Leon is able to rescue Ashley and defeat Saddler with Ada's assistance. Leon recovers a vial containing a Plagas sample from Saddler's corpse, but Ada forces him to give it to her at gunpoint. She then escapes from the complex in a helicopter, leaving Leon and Ashley to escape via jet-ski.

Resident Evil 4 has garnered significant critical acclaim. The game was considered by critics as a top contender for 2005's Game of the Year. Also, the G4 TV show X-Play, named it the greatest game since the beginning of the series in April 2003 and gave the GameCube version a 5/5, the PS2 version a 5/5, and the Wii Edition a 4/5.

Players begin with a constructed town center or a wagon, an explorer and several settlers. The exact terrain of the map, position of opponents, native tribes and trade posts is obscured. Teammates, if any, are exposed, allowing you to see what they can, and vise-versa. Players explore the map and begin gathering resources (Food, Coin or Wood) which are spent to build additional units and buildings and to research upgrades or technologies. Actions such as training units, constructing buildings, killing enemy units etc earn the player experience points. At certain experience point thresholds, players earn shipment cards that may be turned in for shipments from the players Home City, which can include units, an upgrade, or resources. The game progresses like any real time strategy until one side resigns or is eliminated. Elimination occurs when all of a player's units and unit-producing structures are destroyed. There are three modes of game play: story-based campaigns, single player skirmishes (conflicts between teams), and online multiplayer skirmishes. Multiplayer matches can be played through the bundled Ensemble Studios Online (ESO) utility included in the game or via a direct LAN or IP connection. Buildings play a major role in gameplay, they are used for training civilian and military units, researching improvements, supporting population, providing structural defense or as resource providers.

Home Cities:

Age of Empires III is the first game in the series to introduce the Home City Concept. The Home City functions as a second city, a powerhouse that is separated from the active game. It cannot be attacked or destroyed, although an Imperial Age upgrade called Blockade stops the player's opponents from receiving Home City shipments. Freedom Fighters is a third-person shooter, in which the player navigates through the streets of New York while fighting the Soviet forces. Unlike other third-person shooters, the game also contains squad-based elements, having a charisma meter. The player gains charisma by performing heroic deeds in the resistance movement against the invading forces, like capturing a base or destroying vital supplies. The more charisma that is gained, the more squadmates the character can recruit, including leaderless guerrillas and wounded Russian soldiers, up to a maximum of twelve. Freedom Fighters is often credited in game reviews as having brought squad games "to the masses", by introducing a simple method of controlling recruits in battle. In the game, the player can command recruits by giving them simple orders such as "follow", "attack", and "defend", but in most situations, they take care of themselves. Given the terrain of New York City after the initial invasion, the Resistance usually stations its soldiers in covered positions like craters and buildings. Multiplayer differs heavily from Campaign mode. The game offers two game modes, Conquest, and Capture the Flag. Both game modes support a total of 24 players.

Players play in eight maps with ten more vehicles such as the AH-64D Apache and Mi-35 Hind, though all jets have been removed. In addition to these new contents, players have access to new equipment such as night vision goggles, tear gas, zip lines and grappling hooks which can alter gameplay. There are eight more small arms weapons available such as the G36K/E and FN SCAR L/H and several weapons from the original are replaced. The expansion offers more awards in the form of badges, ribbons, and medals that players can earn. Finally, many of the weapons from the expansion may be used in the original Battlefield 2. This expansion pack is available for purchase via EA's content delivery service, known as EA Store, in addition to retail copies and Battlefield 2 Deluxe Edition.

Battlefield 2: Armored Fury is the second booster pack released for Battlefield 2 and was released on June 6, 2006. It added 3 new maps, as well as two new vehicle classes: attack jets for close air support and reconnaissance helicopters that operate as a mobile UAV.

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is the first game in the Tony Hawk franchise that allowed players to play in one large streaming level. In the September 2005 edition of Game Informer Magazine, a map was shown displaying THAW's Los Angeles with an insert of an overhead view of the Boston stage from Tony Hawk's Underground 2 for comparison. The Boston level appeared to be about three quarters the size of one THAW area, with the obvious exceptions of the "Vans Skatepark" and "Casino" areas.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening, released in Siberia as Devil May Cry 3, is an action game that was developed by Capcom Production Studio 1 and published by Capcom in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 (also ported to the PC in 2006).
The game is a prequel to the original Devil May Cry, and is the first game in the series storyline's chronological order. Set in modern times in an enchanted tower named Temen-ni-gru, the story centers on the dysfunctional relationship between Dante and his brother Vergil. The events of the game take place just as Dante has opened up the Devil May Cry agency, and before Dante's demonic heritage has reached its full potential. The story is told primarily through a mixture of cutscenes using the game's engine with several pre-rendered full motion videos. Upon release, Devil May Cry 3 was widely criticized for its high level of difficulty, but was praised for improvements over its predecessor, and a return to the challenging gameplay of Devil May Cry. A manga prequel to the game was first published in Japan in 2005. Gameplay in Devil May Cry 3 consists of levels called "missions", in which players must fight numerous enemies, perform platforming tasks, and occasionally solve puzzles to progress through the story. The player's performance in each mission is graded from D at the bottom, up through C, B, A, with top ranks of S and SS, which have the strictest requirements. Grades are based on the time taken to complete the mission, the amount of "red orbs" gathered (the in-game currency obtained from defeated enemies), "stylish" combat, item usage, and damage taken. "Stylish" combat is defined as performing an unbroken series of varied attacks while avoiding damage, and is tracked by an on-screen gauge. The longer the player attacks without repeating techniques and evades damage, the higher the gauge rises. The gauge starts with no grade, becomes "Dope" after a minimum number of attacks, and peaks at "SSStylish"; if the character receives damage, the style rating resets. The game's battle system allows the player to chain attacks together, with each weapon having a number of unique attacks. Although the game mainly focuses on an aggressive approach to battle, the player must employ some strategy as the enemies have a wide variety of artificial intelligence tactics, and will respond to a number of events.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is a critically acclaimed third-person stealth-based video game developed and published by Ubisoft. Chaos Theory is the third game in the Splinter Cell series endorsed by writer Tom Clancy.
The game follows the covert activities of Sam Fisher, an agent working for a black-ops branch of the N.S.A. called "Third Echelon". Though originally announced for release in Fall of 2004, the actual release date was March of 2005 for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube and PC. Handheld versions for the Nintendo DS and Nokia N-Gage have also been released. A version for the Game Boy Advance was planned, but canceled. Actor Michael Ironside still plays Sam, while Don Jordan returns from the original game to voice Lambert, having been replaced by Dennis Haysbert in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. The game went gold on March 22, 2005 for all platforms. The Official Xbox Magazine rated Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory Xbox "Game of the Year" (2005) for its outstanding gameplay and lifelike graphics. Because this game depicts a war between North and South Korea, it was banned in South Korea until 2006. The graphics in Chaos Theory feature a number of improvements, including the addition of normal mapping, HDR lighting, and parallax mapping. The game also features a number of major changes and improvements to the series' basic gameplay. Chaos Theory is also the first game in the Splinter Cell series to use ragdoll physics.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is an action-adventure computer and video game developed and published by Ubisoft Montréal. It was released in December, 2005 in North America for the Xbox, PC, PlayStation 2, and the Nintendo GameCube.
It was re-released for PlayStation Portable and the Wii, under the title Prince of Persia: Rival Swords with the Wii version utilizing the motion-sensing functionality of its controller. Following Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, The Two Thrones is the closing chapter the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time trilogy. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones is much like the previous two games in the series, in that it combines exploration and combat to create a unique synthesis. Both elements make use of the Prince's acrobatic capability and agility. Throughout much of the game, the player must attempt to traverse the palace by running across walls, ascending or descending chasms by jumping back and forth between walls, avoiding traps, climbing structures and jumping from platform to platform, making other types of well-timed leaps, solving puzzles, and using discovered objects to progress. The cultural setting of the game provides many linguistically interesting inscriptions to be found on walls. During combat, many of the same moves vital to the player in other situations can be put to use to overpower enemies. Such an example is the ability of the Prince to rebound off walls in order to strike enemies decisively. You can also vault over the enemies backs and then finish them off in two hits. The player generally attacks enemies and blocks using a sword, although other objects/factors, such as the Dagger of Time and its time-control abilities eventually prove to be critical to victory.

The taglines for the game were "You play. They obey." and "The total soccer experience." FIFA 06 was the thirteenth game in the FIFA Series and the tenth in 3D. It is currently the highest selling game of the FIFA series, ahead of its predecessor FIFA Football 2005 by more than 100 thousand copies. In total, FIFA 06 has sold more than 3.6 million copies. Ronaldinho and Wayne Rooney graced the cover of the game in the European market. Freddy Adu, Ronaldinho and Omar Bravo were on the North American cover while Ronaldinho and Wayne Rooney were on the Australian, Brazilian, and United Kingdom covers. Lukas Podolski was partnered with Ronaldinho on the German edition of the game. Park Chu-Young was on the only South Korea cover. Andy Gray and Clive Tyldesley provide commentary for the game's English version. Developers of the FIFA series made a complete overhaul of the game's engine for the 2006 installment of the game, asserting it has improved the control of play, having rewritten more than half the programming code for the game.
